Solution Description
SelfieSign is a dynamic biometric e-signature solution based on video recording and facial recognition. Combining signature and simultaneous video record the signer and signing process was captured to demonstrate the signer was “Alive”, “Aware” and actually “Approves” by signing off hence able to prevent signature forgeries and frauds.
SelfieSign adds “Visibility” and “Transparency” to signature process hence provides “Traceability” for e-signature. Unique video signature format creates a mobile and secure pathway to sign documents and instinctively verify its authenticity, making the signature undeniable.
SelfieSign can be implemented in different industry includes Healthcare, Legal & Government, Bank & Insurance, Logistics etc.
SelfieSign has obtained 8 invention patents in Taiwan; 2 invention patents in USA and 1 invention patent in China; also patent pending in European Union. In 2016, SelfieSign prototype was exhibited at Concours Lépine, an innovation competition in Paris France, winning the gold medal. Following implementation of SelfieSign, China Medical University Hospital became the first paperless hospital. As a result, received “Paperless Hospital” and “Best Innovation” awards from Ministry of Health and Welfare. In 2018 SelfieSign was certified for ISO27001 Information Security Management compliant and won the gold medal at Future Commerce award and “Innovative Finance Application” at HackIDB contest.
