Promote industry exchanges and collaborations

Promoted the establishment of an IoT industry alliance

Promoted the establishment of Asian Silicon Valley-Major League IoT to accelerate integration of industries and facilitate communication of policies. The Asian Silicon Valley-Major League IoT promoted interdisciplinary exchanges between domestic and overseas enterprises, unions, associations, legal entities, schools and startups related to the IoT, and currently has close to 400 members. There are 9 SIGs, in the domains of smart traffic, logistics, manufacturing, energy efficiency and environmental monitoring, business, family, agriculture, medical care and IoT information security, actively facilitating exchanges between the industry, government and academia.

Promote Smart City Taiwan

220+proposals from companies were reviewed and approved. Investments from public and private sectors totaled about NT$billion.


Smart City Taiwan was launched in April 2017. County and city government bodies offered venues for the industries to run demo and validation of smart city solutions to make smart applications available in both urban and rural areas and realize the vision of local innovation.
