In order to enhance the efficiency of irrigation water management in Hsinchu, the Irrigation Agency (IA) applies low-power sensors, remote control systems of water gates, and gate inspection systems to the irrigation management of the Zhudong Canal. The IA combines water gauges with the low-power NB IoT transmission module to monitor the real-time water level. Meanwhile, with the remote control systems of water gates, the real-time opening and closing of water gates can be operated through the "Platform of IA for Remote Monitoring and Management of Water Gates", making the operation of irrigation management more labor-saving and convenient. In addition, installing NFC tag cards allows to fill out the information and transmit the inspection results of water gates through an inspection APP, enhancing the efficiency of gate management.

In 2020, commercial 5G network has come into our lives. Finally, it is also matched with the stadium's 3D depth technology and dynamic people counting analytics technology to provide security control requirements for the stadium. New and improved drugs have been developed for treating different stages of prostate cancer. These drugs can extend the time people with prostate cancer live, but over time, some patients develop resistance to them. The goal of this research is to identify gene signatures for good and poor prognosis through customized Affymetrix transcriptome chips in a fast and highly reproducible manner. Prostate cancer patients from different medical centers were studied. A customized Affymetrix transcriptome chip was used in the analysis of blood samples before, during, and after drug treatment. By examining the patterns of gene expression and using various models, key genes related to drug response were identified. With this information, an online tool was created to recommend the most effective drugs for individual patients based on their genetic profiles.

Video surveillance systems are deployed at many public spaces for Urban security and surveillance purposes such as airports, train stations, and shopping malls. However, it is laborious to analysis and retrieval for specific persons in multiple camera surveillance systems, especially in the cluttered background and appearance variations among multiple cameras. In order to address the problem, this system presents an AI video analysis and retrieval method to extract the human attribute via deep-learning instance-segmentation technology. It uses attributes like clothes color and type to describe a person. The proposed system of person retrieval consists of four steps: (i) using deep-learning instance-segmentation technology to perform pixel-wise person segmentation; (ii) appearance-based attribute features with multi-CNN; (iii) search engine with fundamental attributes matching approach; and (iv) the video summarization technique to produce temporal abstraction of retrieval objects.
