By using visual dashboards of an 3D modeling GIS map, cellular-based vehicle probe (CVP) data, parking lot data, CCTV data and traffic incident could be easily read by users. Through this center, the manager could easily make the right decision. In order to enhance the efficiency of irrigation water management in Hsinchu, the Irrigation Agency (IA) applies low-power sensors, remote control systems of water gates, and gate inspection systems to the irrigation management of the Zhudong Canal. The IA combines water gauges with the low-power NB IoT transmission module to monitor the real-time water level. Meanwhile, with the remote control systems of water gates, the real-time opening and closing of water gates can be operated through the "Platform of IA for Remote Monitoring and Management of Water Gates", making the operation of irrigation management more labor-saving and convenient. In addition, installing NFC tag cards allows to fill out the information and transmit the inspection results of water gates through an inspection APP, enhancing the efficiency of gate management.

In general, 3D photo-curing printed bio-ceramic application could not meet the expectations of mechanical properties of printed objects. By admixing a combustible reverse negative thermoresponsive hydrogel (poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-based), this problem can be solved. Sintering densification is expected via free volume contraction, which will increase the mechanical properties after the formation of the porous bio-ceramics. These bio-ceramic devices could offer additional benefits for bone or prosthodontics. This photo-curing technology seeks to facilitate the fabrication of more precise and complex shapes using 3D printing of ceramic know-how.

GO SMART Day, the annual celebration of GO SMART (Global organization of smart cities), with two sessions of general assembly and award ceremony, is always held during the Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE) Taipei. This year, GO SMART Day 2023 was successfully concluded on March 29 at the PLACE Taipei. We conducted the General Assembly through online broadcasting in the afternoon, and the physical Award Ceremony with more than 100 guests attending the reception in the evening. Taipei City Mayor Chiang extended his warm welcome to the guests from afar at the opening of the General Assembly and presented the trophies to the five award winners at the ceremony. The event attracted international smart cities experts, operators and stakeholders to interact, share and learn with one another. Indeed, it’s a very fruitful gathering.
