The Theme of GO SMART Pavilion –A Smart City with Open Source and Sharing
This year GO SMART invites the following three members to exhibit at GO SMART Pavilion: The THINKTANK provides AIoT solutions, including product design, software and communication services. The ARK is a Taiwanese team with the tech-core of 3D display technology patents, targeting the needs of museums, artworks, and online museums. RewardinMe is an enterprise-level cloud survey service provider focusing more on the questionnaire execution and interprets data into meaningful insights. The fifth term of 2023 GO SMART Award this year received a total of 43 submissions from 19 cities, 11 countries across four continents. Here are the five winners of 2023 GO SMART Award: New Taipei City Government, Indonesia, Kaohsiung City Government, and Taichung City Government. The other 9 finalists and 2022 GO SMART Award Winners will also be on display at the GO SMART exhibition.

NTPD established the first drone team for police on September 26, 2020. It has broadened our all-round 3D technology security circle coverage through its air superiority, enables chain of command fully aware of on-site situation. So far there are 18 members acquired professional operation license of group 1 or 3 issued by Civil Aeronautics Administration, MOTC R.O.C. It allows us to perform different tasks under diverse situations like public security, traffic report, administrative inspection, etc.

The Smart Poles integrate 5G, IoT, communications and special needs modules to execute various tasks and incorporate AI applications, improving city security, transportation, environment and economy. By converging the light of the future smart city on lamp poles, they become the cornerstone of constructing urban base networks and big data analytics platforms. The "Smart Poles" have consecutively won the "2023 WITSA Smart City Award First Prize", "2023 IDC Future Enterprise Awards" Grand Prize for Asia Pacific and Taiwan, gaining international acclaim and letting the world see the light of New Taipei City again!

Asia’s First Vehicle Noise Audit with Acoustic Camera Technology
In recent years, the number of motor vehicle noise cases has increased, and it has been a concern for people in Taiwan. In order to protect the living environment and eliminate improper vehicle modifications, the Ministry of Environment has used acoustic camera technology for law enforcement since 2021. The system contains several scientific instruments, including a license plate recognition function that helps authorities identify noisy vehicles. Technology also improves inspection efficiency and quality of noisy vehicles. Existing roadside inspections require onsite noise measurement. The stationary noise test takes at least 20 minutes for each vehicle. Law enforcement using acoustic camera technology can simultaneously record videos, take photos, identify vehicles and complete noise measurements, to increase efficiency by a factor of 200. It is no longer necessary to use a large amount of manpower to carry out checks and inspections, greatly reducing labor costs. The Acoustic Camera equipment equipment used in this exhibition is provided by OE Scientech Co., Ltd. They not only supply fixed or mobile sound-based photography equipment to Taipei City, Taichung City, Chiayi City, and Changhua County but also have extensive experience in assisting with technology enforcement operations.
