In order to highlight the crucial role that startups play in the smart city industry, Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE) launched its very own “Smart Startups Program” for the first time in 2022, welcoming smart startups, investors & speakers from around the world. The program seeks to accelerate the world’s innovation ecosystem by connecting the globe to the newest technologies.

Besides the onsite exhibition, the program offers Smart Open Mic, an amazing platform for startups to showcase their innovative solutions to the world. In addition to the pitch session, a networking session has been newly introduced in each session of Smart Open Mic this year. Beyond the live audience pitch, startups also have the opportunity to interact with enterprises during the networking session. With 13 accelerators and almost 103 startups from industries such as AIoT, smart healthcare, energy, transportation and many more, this year’s Smart Open Mic promises brilliant presentations throughout the event.
