Since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on SME, Innovation, and Startup Cooperation between Taiwan and Poland in 2020, the two sides have established a solid annual exchange mechanism focused on practical matchmaking among small and medium-sized enterprises.

This year, in partnership with Poland’s 8Foundry Alliance, the two sides will jointly host the Smart City Forum and Business Matchmaking Session during the Smart City Expo. As the alliance expands its scale this year, it will lead representatives from Polish cities and ports to Taiwan to set up a Poland Pavilion, aiming to deepen collaboration on smart city solutions and generate tangible business opportunities.

By leveraging Taiwan’s strengths in high-quality ICT and system integration, together with Poland’s strong demand for urban infrastructure and digital transformation, both sides will capitalize on their complementary advantages to jointly promote the global application of IoT, AI, and smart governance.
