As the first international conference on system integration, the 2019 World System Integrator Conference (WSIC) provided a platform for industry members across the world to share ideas and experiences on the frontier solutions of Taiwan.

Continuing the legacy of the conference in 2019, the 2020 World System Integrator Conference will focus on "Developing a Safe and Sustainable Smart City." The concept of system integration is integrating hardware and software, which is of utmost significance to manage the rising urbanization wave and he pandemic threat across the globe.

Through close engagement, we believe that it would be helpful to the participants receiving up-to-date solutions and regional market trends under COVID-19 impact. International organizations play an integral part in regional infrastructure development. This conference will invite officials from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to share insights in smart city development trends and strategies to modernize infrastructures through digital technologies. Other industry members from Thailand, Indonesia, and India, will also provide first-hand information on smart city development and entry strategies.

For promoting Taiwan's proud solution providers to the international partners, the conference will also invite the winners of the 2020 Taiwan System Integration Award, and share their experiences and successful cases with foreign counterparts.
