In response to the international cooperation mechanisms under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, Taiwan is actively deepening international collaboration in climate governance to realize the 2050 net-zero emissions goal.

At this pivotal moment marked by the official launch of Taiwan's carbon fee and the strategic transition toward a Taiwan Emissions Trading System (TW ETS), the Taiwan Carbon Solution Exchange (TCX) and the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) will jointly host the "Global Forum on Carbon Pricing & Climate Finance" during the Smart City Summit & Expo and Net Zero City Expo.

The forum will convene leading international institutions, including the European Energy Exchange (EEX), Carbon Market Institute (CMI), VERRA, and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), to share insights on global carbon pricing practices and explore emerging trends in climate finance. This event aims to equip enterprises with a comprehensive understanding of global carbon markets under international frameworks, empowering them to navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities of net-zero transformation.
