The Sustainable City Forum is one of the major annual events of Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE). With anaim to achieve SDG11, the organizers hope to bring together the smart solutions in renewable energy, energy efficiency, green finance, circular economy, and eco-mobility via this platform.

Aligning with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the UN proposed the concept of GreenEconomy. Green Economy refers to economic activities which not only include the features of low-carbon, resource-efficient, and socially inclusive but also prevent the environment from losing biodiversity and ecosystem. In order to promote green economic transformation from cities in the post COVID-19 era, the forum will focus on the discussion of Green Economy, including factors such us economy, investment, capital and infrastructure, employment and skills, and positive social and environmental influences.

Under the theme of Green Economy, the forum is divided into two sessions: the first session, we invite representatives of local governments to share their policies on green economic transition and practical cases. For the second session, the discussion will focus on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) for the promotion of Green Economy. PPP refers to the cooperation between governments and the private sector to build and operate public constructions, thereby improving the quality of public services. We would like to invite representatives from public and private sectors to share their experiences on implementing and strengthen cooperation between both parties for the green economy. We sincerely invite cities, businesses, and experts around the world to attend the event and share their experiences through both offline and online channels
