Dr. Lewis Liu specialized in the technologies relating to 3D vision system including 3D sensing, 3D rapid modeling, 3D recognition and high-accuracy/precision measurement. With respect to the needs derived from ARVR industries, Lewis leads the team developing technologies which cover the modelized hardware, driving software, and authoring tools to enrich the vertical ecosystem. The exchange of 3D and 2D visualized data facilitates the collaborations such as machine installation, remote assist, and patrolling in the Metaverse breaking through the limitations across regions and time zones.

His current research interests include Internet of things, urban computing, and artificial intelligence.

Since 2020, he will be a lecturer in the course related of Metaverse in I-Shou University, and developing a blockchain game "Niimfer World", which with the cards and dota-like gameplay.
