Smart City Summit and Expo (SCSE) has always featured the in-depth collaborations among local governments around the world. Since Taipei City Government joined as the co-organizer of the Expo in 2016, Mayors’ Summit has thus become the annual highlight of SCSE. With the number of overseas delegations and city leaders escalated every year and hit the record in 2019 with 128 city leaders visiting Taiwan for the SCSE, the Summit is now largest platform for smart cities’ networking.

Despite the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on physical events, the Summit will carry on its mission as a HYBRID event. Mayors and city leaders will share under the topic of “Smart Cities on the Path to a New Normal”, shedding the lights on “what technologies could be used in cities for effective pandemic control?” and “the new smart measures that could speed up the recovery in cities”. It will be conducted in 2 sessions for participants in difference time zones. Each session will involve over 10 city leaders from around the world. All interested parties from governmental agencies and enterprises are welcome to register for the livestream sessions.

For the purpose of pandemic control, organizer reserves the right to qualify the participants.
