While constructing smart city has always been a key global trend that telecom operators play a key role in, people are paying growing attention to the infrastructure development of telecom technologies and service upgrades. The World Telecom Smart City Conference has thus been one of the highlights in the Smart City Summit & Expo, engaging telecom operators from all over the world to share most up-to-date knowledge valuable to both modern cities and citizens.

Already kicked off in many parts of the world, the commercial operation of 5G technology took itself to the next level: the backbone of smart city operation with the high speed, low latency, and connections.

The theme of 2021 World Telecom Smart City Conference is “Towards a 5G x AIoT Future”. By involving the telecom giants and their insights from past experience in building smart cities and diverse solutions, we aim to gather the world’s pace and shed light on the future opportunities. In one parallel forum, which is organized by Chunghwa Telecom with the theme of “5G x AIoT Smart City and Global IoT Application”, global telecom operators and professionals will be invited to share their experience of applying 5G network in all kinds of innovations Taiwan.

For the purpose of pandemic control, organizer reserves the right to qualify the participants.
