Boasting high speed, low latency, and extensive connectivity, 5G communication can seamlessly integrate with artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), thereby expediting the progress of smart city development.

To promote the application of 5G across various industries, Taiwan’s National Development Council, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and Ministry of Culture have been allocating budgets for the research and development of 5G private networks in experimental fields such as smart transportation, manufacturing, enterprise, and cultural economy since three years ago. Currently, nearly 100 cases of applications have been accumulated, and a comprehensive 5G private network equipment supply chain has been established.

From March 19-22, the 2024Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE) will showcase various projects with the comprehensive 5G private network applications. During the pre-SCSE webinar, we will present several 5G private network application cases and welcome global enterprises or organizations interested in 5G private network applications to come to Taiwan for exploring of more cases!
