As the global issue of climate change becomes increasingly severe, achieving net-zero carbon emissions has become an international consensus. Governments, businesses, and social organizations are actively promoting energy transition to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address the challenges brought by climate change.
Local cities are on the front lines of resisting climate impacts. The carbon emissions of urban energy sectors account for more than 60% of total emissions, demonstrating that urban energy transition can effectively achieve the goal of net-zero cities.
The Taiwan Smart City Solution Alliance (TSSA) has specially organized the "2025 Urban Energy Transition Evaluation" event and this forum to enhance the understanding of net-zero cities and energy transition among various sectors.
