The Net Zero City Expo and Net Zero City Summit had been held in Taipei for the first time in 2023. Taiwan is also the first to hold an international net zero city expo. In order to work in concert with the 2050 international net-zero and the United Nations’ sustainable development goals, the 2024 Kaohsiung Smart City Exhibition plans

The Net Zero Initiative Pavilion showcases three categories: net zero innovative services and products, net zero innovative technologies and materials, and circular economy and permaculture methods, and sharing session, so that more cities and enterprises can understand how to use smart technology to achieve the goal of net zero sustainability.
