Virtual Power Plant Pavilion
feature
To align with the global energy transition and the international push for decarbonization, the Taiwan Smart City Solution Alliance (TSSA) has established the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Special Interest Group(SIG). Led by General Manager Peter Chang of e-Formula as the convener, the group comprises 21 companies, organized into five subgroups.
At the heart of this exhibition is the concept of "User Participation, Market Openness, and Grid Resilience." By integrating various distributed energy resources—such as solar and wind power, energy storage systems, and user-manageable loads—the VPP creates an intelligent energy management system comparable to traditional power plants. This exhibition area highlights three key themes: System, Facility, and Integration, showcasing how virtual power plants enhance energy management, improve grid stability, promote market openness, and encourage user participation.

Smart City Solutions
Delta's smart city solutions are based on three main axes: smart park management, smart light poles, and community security monitoring: smart park management uses a cross-system city information integration platform that handles a wide range of data transmission, aggregation, visualisation, and analysis to help achieve the goals of smart city governance. Intelligent light poles provide low-carbon lighting services in the parks, and at the same time serve as information collection and transmission nodes for the intelligent Internet of Things, while security surveillance protects people and assets in the parks and the city from infringement. Delta's smart city solutions help customers achieve a better smart city with both technology and humanity.
Delta Electric Vehicle Fleet Charging Solutions
Delta’s EV charging solution utilizes the self-developed DeltaGrid® EVM, an electric vehicle charging management system for smart charging, power allocation, and charging equipment management. To avoid exceeding the site’s power limit during simultaneous charging, which could result in fines or power outages, the depot adopted a smart charging management system to effectively address power overuse and charging allocation issues. Under limited power conditions, the system efficiently allocates charging power for the electric buses and provides flexibility for future fleet expansion. To address the challenges of charging commercial fleets, the system has dedicated features that were developed for electric buses and commercial fleet charging needs, including Vehicle Identification, Site Current Limitation, Real-Time Alerts, etc, effectively enhances charging efficiency, optimizes operational benefits for electric fleets, and successfully demonstrates the transformation to the electrification of transportation.
Delta Smart Energy Management Solutions
DeltaGrid® low-carbon emission energy solution focuses on the four major perspectives of energy creation, energy storage, energy control, and energy saving. It integrates solar energy, energy storage, EV chargers, energy management, as well as energy saving software and hardware products to provide a practical transformation solution that helps strengthen grid resilience, optimize energy dispatching, enhance renewable energy utilization, and achieve cost and energy saving, carbon emission reduction, and net zero sustainability goals. The solution is for four major areas, including power plants, industrial and commercial factories, electric vehicle charging stations, and community residences, so that renewable energy can be stably connected to the grid, stabilize the electricity consumption of industrial and commercial factories, and improve the operating efficiency of charging stations.
