ISO14068-1:2023 Carbon Neutrality
Solution Description
ISO 14068-1 aims to provide a standardized method for achieving and declaring carbon neutrality based on existing international standards involving greenhouse gas quantification, reporting, verification, and verification, such as ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-3, and ISO 14067. Applies to organizations and products (such as goods and services, including events and buildings). The birth of this standard also means that it will replace the current implementation specification PAS 2060 in the future.
ISO14068-1:2023 Carbon Neutrality is established in a more rigorous manner, in which GHG emission reductions (direct and indirect) and GHG removal increments in the value chain are prioritized over offsets. Includes requirements for carbon neutrality commitments and carbon neutrality declarations. Through a systematic, highly transparent, and verifiable approach, we standardize the way companies promote the carbon neutrality hierarchy, ensuring that the organization's carbon neutrality process is implemented in a scientifically based carbon reduction approach and moving towards the goal of net-zero transformation.
