安能聚綠能股份有限公司

Established in 2016, Thermolysis, a Taiwan-based enterprise, focuses on continuous innovation. Specializing in high-temperature thermal treatment systems, particularly for carbon fiber recycling, we've been constructing factory lines since 2020 for large-scale processing and production.

Expanding the recycled carbon fiber market, we've broadened its applications to high-value products. Besides mass-producing recycled carbon fiber, we design and manufacture downstream products like recycled carbon fiber paper, non-woven materials, and plastic masterbatch, facilitating seamless integration into existing production processes. Our product range now includes intermediate products such as recycled carbon fiber prepreg, thermoplastic laminate, and tubes.

In 2023, Thermolysis commissioned TÜV Rheinland of Germany for ISO 14067 carbon footprint certification. Our recycled carbon fiber process emits 5.047 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent per kg, significantly lower than new carbon fiber manufacturing, which emits five times more.

Carbon Fiber Recycling and Regeneration

Solution Description

Net Zero Innovation

Thermolysis is one of the few companies globally capable of processing and regenerating carbon fibers, with the ability to conduct large-scale processing and production of regenerated carbon fibers, while also developing various products made from recycled carbon fibers. To earn customer trust, Thermolysis has commissioned third-party certification bodies such as UL and TÜV Rheinland Germany to certify the carbon emissions from recycled materials and recycling processes. Between 2022 and 2023, Thermolysis obtained UL2809 verification for the recycled material content and ISO14067 certification for the product carbon footprint (the carbon emissions of recycled carbon fibers are 5.047 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent per kilogram, which is only one-fifth of that of new materials), providing clear process records and low carbon emission certifications, enabling customers to achieve environmental and sustainable development, and assisting companies in ESG evaluations and calculations.
