Solution Description
More than 3,400 data entries have been made available through the Taichung City Government Open Data Platform, of which 629 entries are unique to the city. The platform also features a "Geographic Data" section, which not only releases the latest map data but also includes 24 years of historical map data, showcasing the transformation of the city's rich geography and culture. The city has also created the Taichung City Map Cloud, releasing diverse map service APIs for various government agencies. During the pandemic, a footprint map was created for the public's convenience and house number information was also made available on the OSM (Open Street Map) to realize public-private partnerships. Taichung provides open data and map services from diverse perspectives to improve citizens' daily lives and offer professionals or developers unlimited application possibilities!
