An acceleration platform that provides AI partners with comprehensive upgrades in technology, products, and markets. Since 2021, Taiwan AI Cloud has launched the “AIHPC Accelerator” to foster a collaborative AI ecosystem. The AIHPC Accelerator program is designed to support AI startups in matching with smart application scenarios and commercializing their products. By complementing the roles of third-party accelerators, incubators, and startup support centers, Taiwan AI Cloud provides a comprehensive business development platform for Taiwan’s AI startups. The Track Safety Management System is primarily aimed at addressing safety concerns along the track. It provides real-time monitoring, statistics, and detection-triggered alerts for trackside environments including stations, level crossings, along the track, and slope areas. The goal of this management system is to establish early warning alerts and prevent accidents from causing damage. Through the intelligent AIOT recognition monitoring system, it detects and analyzes station pedestrian traffic, tracks pedestrians at level crossings, identifies passing vehicles and traffic flow, detects foreign objects at level crossings and activates alarms, monitors personnel lingering and debris along the track, conducts rockfall monitoring on slopes with a rain gauge, monitors the environmental conditions in equipment boxes, and oversees the operation status of level crossing equipment. The monitoring data and image information are transmitted to the management system platform for integrated management via fiber-optic networks, NBIOT, or mobile communication. Additionally, it provides central management personnel with real-time interpretation and remote control in case of anomalies.

Prof. Ming-Chung Chou’s Team – Intelligent X-ray Imaging System Traditional X-ray imaging depends on experienced radiographers to balance image quality and radiation dose. Automatic exposure control may misjudge patients with poor positioning or metallic implants, increasing radiation by about 20%. This study develops an AI-based X-ray imaging system with non-contact body thickness measurement. By integrating patient height and weight, the system automatically determines optimal exposure parameters, ensuring stable image quality while reducing unnecessary radiation and cancer risk.

Managers take time to confirm position and execution status when assigning tasks and events. With this Staff Positioning and Dispatching System, managers can assign work. Employees see the location and content and can report the status of completion on the system. The manager can check whether the employee actually arrived at the given location.

To establish a civil participation mechanism to widely gather opinions from all sectors, the National Development Council has established the "Just Transition Commission." The committee follows a principle of equal representation between governmental agencies and civil society. Members serve a term of two years. The government agency representatives on the committee are deputy ministers from ministries responsible for the 12 key strategies of the 2050 net-zero transition and related issues of just transition. In addition, the members of the civil society include citizen groups focused on environmental, labor, and indigenous issues, as well as representatives from social enterprises and experts/scholars in the field of economic industries. The committee has four working groups: an academic group, a strategic review group, an issue identification group and an influence group. The public-private partnership will work together to promote a net-zero fair transition. Additionally, this year, multiple public consultation sessions are planned to gather current visions and expectations for a net-zero fair transition from all sectors, aiming to enhance public awareness of net-zero carbon emissions and fair transition.
