To establish a civil participation mechanism to widely gather opinions from all sectors, the National Development Council has established the "Just Transition Commission." The committee follows a principle of equal representation between governmental agencies and civil society. Members serve a term of two years. The government agency representatives on the committee are deputy ministers from ministries responsible for the 12 key strategies of the 2050 net-zero transition and related issues of just transition. In addition, the members of the civil society include citizen groups focused on environmental, labor, and indigenous issues, as well as representatives from social enterprises and experts/scholars in the field of economic industries. The committee has four working groups: an academic group, a strategic review group, an issue identification group and an influence group. The public-private partnership will work together to promote a net-zero fair transition. Additionally, this year, multiple public consultation sessions are planned to gather current visions and expectations for a net-zero fair transition from all sectors, aiming to enhance public awareness of net-zero carbon emissions and fair transition.

Licensed pharmacists then deliver medications directly to the patient’s home free of charge. By integrating technology with compassionate care, the program promotes medication equity and enhances medication safety for vulnerable populations. It also reduces the caregiving burden caused by long travel distances and limited transportation options. Through this initiative, Nantou County is committed to building an age-friendly city that ensures accessible, safe, and dignified healthcare services for all residents.

In response to the “pedestrian hell” issue, the system supports pedestrian signal control—such as extending pedestrian green time or inserting additional phases—and works in tandem with smart intersection sensing devices to proactively protect every step pedestrians take while crossing the street.

Prof. Chia-Hsin Chen’s Team – An Innovative AI-Powered Tongue Vibration Training System This project develops an AI-driven tongue vibration training system for dysphagia and obstructive sleep apnea. It combines a safe, adjustable tongue device, AI motion tracking with real-time biofeedback, EEG-based cognitive monitoring, and AR-based gamified training to deliver personalized, engaging, and data-driven rehabilitation.

During WirForce 2024, the largest LAN Party in Asia, the Omada business networking solution provided full network support for 1,400 BYOC players. Over four days, the network handled more than 6,000 wired devices and 800 wireless devices, with total data traffic exceeding 1,800TB, demonstrating exceptional performance and reliability.
