Data-oriented robotics exoskeleton rehabilitation system
FREE Bionics offers the world's first exoskeleton robotic rehabilitation system consists mainly of the joint activity training robot "NimBO", and the lower limb exoskeleton robot "FREE Walk". Which integrates precise data analysis to form a comprehensive and precise rehabilitation solution driven by data.
NimBO is apply on measuring movement angles and muscle strength of six major joints of the patient's upper/lower limbs, analyzing the bottleneck of the patient's movement ability, and then to guide the patient to conduct correct movement training to improve joint mobility.
In addition, FREE Walk provides patients with functional movement needs of the lower limbs. The power assistance and movement guidance allow patients to perform nerve reshaping of lower limb movements and core training of the trunk, which can significantly improve mobility for patients in both acute and chronic stages.
This system shows significant improvement in mobility for both acute and chronic patients.

Telemedicine Solution & Smart Healthcare Station
Telemedicine consultations between clinicians and patients have become a trend to reduce infections. imedtac Telehealth Solution combines patient information, video and vital signs data into a single platform, making it easier to have virtual consultations with various specialists and to provide timely, specialized care to patients.
The Smart Healthcare Station integrates several vital sign tests like height, weight, blood pressure, heartbeat, and temperature into one kiosk. Users can measure all the vital signs with iMVS, upload the vital signs data to the cloud, and even integrate the vital sign data cloud to the hospital information system or other platforms. The manager and the doctor can acquire users’ vital sign data through the solution, know the patient’s health status, and provide a better patient experience.

Digital Twin Technology: A Comprehensive View of Disaster Impact
The application of digital twin technology in building smart cities is becoming increasingly clear, serving as a crucial engine for driving urban transformation. In the development of smart cities in recent years, citizens can view the growth and development of the entire city, including population growth, new construction, and other major activities, in a 3D format, gradually emphasizing the concept of a virtual city. Digital twin technology can simulate disaster scenarios, including weather events and traffic accidents, assisting disaster response personnel in rapidly understanding the situation and optimizing the efficiency of disaster response. In recent years, with the advancement of aerial photography, simulation technology, and computing resources, The National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction has leveraged advanced technology to create a mountainous flood inundation model system. This system enhances disaster warning and impact analysis, providing a comprehensive view of vulnerable settlements. It utilizes dynamic models and virtual-real integration, presenting alert information and disaster impacts through visual elements, contributing to informed decision-making in disaster situations.

Just Transition Commission
To establish a civil participation mechanism to widely gather opinions from all sectors, the National Development Council has established the "Just Transition Commission." The committee follows a principle of equal representation between governmental agencies and civil society. Members serve a term of two years. The government agency representatives on the committee are deputy ministers from ministries responsible for the 12 key strategies of the 2050 net-zero transition and related issues of just transition. In addition, the members of the civil society include citizen groups focused on environmental, labor, and indigenous issues, as well as representatives from social enterprises and experts/scholars in the field of economic industries. The committee has four working groups: an academic group, a strategic review group, an issue identification group and an influence group. The public-private partnership will work together to promote a net-zero fair transition.
Additionally, this year, multiple public consultation sessions are planned to gather current visions and expectations for a net-zero fair transition from all sectors, aiming to enhance public awareness of net-zero carbon emissions and fair transition.

Precision Smart Management of Irrigation
The Irrigation Agency has designated the Zhudong Irrigation Area in Hsinchu as a demonstration site for the construction of a smart irrigation system. This system integrates hydrological sensing components, IoT transmission, and remote gate control technology. Key control points along the irrigation channels have been equipped with water level sensors, remote gate control systems, and surveillance cameras, incorporating cost-effective, low-power, and highly weather-resistant sensing technologies.
Irrigation managers can utilize water level sensors to accurately monitor changes in water levels along the irrigation channels. Coupled with real-time imaging, they can remotely control the opening and closing of water gates, optimizing water distribution management and reducing water loss during transportation. This approach not only enhances irrigation efficiency but also minimizes the time and labor costs associated with on-site operations, increasing flexibility in personnel allocation.
In response to the growing frequency of extreme weather events due to climate change, the Irrigation Agency is employing smart irrigation systems to enhance the overall allocation of agricultural water resources, strengthen disaster response capabilities, and provide critical data for informed decision-making.
