Solution Description
"city surveillance system" (TIAN LUO DI WANG) has been set up since 2002.
Early image data are stored in intersection equipment, and intelligent application is limited by network bandwidth and system performance. Taoyuan police department deeply feels that the key to the success of future monitoring system lies in network transmission and started to build a backbone of self-built optical fiber network to overcome obstacles and limitations of various road environments since 2012. By the end of 2018, it has completed 502 kilometers of optical fiber network, which is the top of all police units in Taiwan.
Based on this advantage, million-pixel cameras have been widely used in recent years, and application software has been developed. At present, many key applications of surveillance and recording system have been introduced to build the " city surveillance system" (TIAN LUO DI WANG) of smart security for Taoyuan City, including:
