Growing Lepironia is a kind of “No-till farming”, which means we don’t plow on soil. Without tillage, the potential of soil carbon credits would be huge. We assess the carbon emission of every straw would confidently be “negative” with our low-carbon process of production. Besides throwing back to the farms, the wastes of farming and manufacturing grass straws, and even used straws, can be efficiently recycled to make “Lepironia-algae Tableware” with innovative algae technology. We try to combine “yellow carbon” from soil and “blue carbon” from oceans to create totally bio-degradable and recyclable green materials.

This project establishes a 5G private network in rural Tainan schools, introducing AR/VR gamified English teaching. Students engage in scenario-based games, simulating English conversations in virtual reality, fostering entertaining and interactive learning. LiftConex is an elevator control solution specifically designed for smart robots, offering fast, reliable communication and seamless integration. Whether for logistics delivery robots or cleaning robots, LiftConex enables autonomous interaction with elevators, helping robots efficiently complete inter-floor tasks. The system supports cross-brand and multi-model elevators, enabling compatibility with robots through various communication protocols. Enhanced with AI capabilities, LiftConex can monitor site conditions, such as detecting the number of passengers inside the elevator and reporting elevator floor status, optimizing the robot’s elevator usage process while adapting to complex environmental changes. Additionally, LiftConex enables dynamic scheduling and optimization in multi-elevator scenarios, making it suitable for commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and smart warehouses across diverse application environments.

The Civil IoT data service platform collected and stored environmental sensor data in four key areas: earthquake, water resources, air quality, and disaster prevention, and provides real-time data service using the OGC SensorThings API that conforms to the international data modeling standards for value-added services through a unified data modeling framework. In order to solve the problem of insufficient communication in remote areas, Band20 frequency band is utilized to build a backbone network core service for IoT application, which provides remote areas with the use of Band20 frequency band as a network communication method for IoT data transmission, and expands the scope of IoT deployment in remote areas.

By applying multiple disaster data on CIoT, including disaster warning and notification, rainfall, earthquake, regional drainage data, etc., collected from various public sectors, alongside with the on-site environment monitoring data, the data is verified and utilized by ThinkTron to develop the comprehensive All-Hazard Emergency Data Platform for the emergency response centers of some municipal fire departments in Taiwan. This not just enables the digital transformation but also boosts the digital governance. In addition, this GIS+IoT+AI integrated application is extended to smart industrial park management, helping corporate clients on achieving ESG goals accordingly by sustainable operation.
