To accelerate agricultural transformation, solutions are developed with experts in various fields of agriculture and livestock. Through sharing successful case studies, the aim is to guide industry stakeholders to embrace new knowledge and technologies. Additionally, counseling teams assist farmer groups in transitioning towards a smart agriculture concept that combines 'smart technology' and the 'net-zero emission' approach. The development focuses on creating a future agriculture model primarily based on automation and AI, striving for efficiency, quality, and Intelligent Automation (IA).The project won the 2024 Smart City Innovation Application Awards.

Prof. Chia-Hsin Chen’s Team – An Innovative AI-Powered Tongue Vibration Training System This project develops an AI-driven tongue vibration training system for dysphagia and obstructive sleep apnea. It combines a safe, adjustable tongue device, AI motion tracking with real-time biofeedback, EEG-based cognitive monitoring, and AR-based gamified training to deliver personalized, engaging, and data-driven rehabilitation.

"Hualien AI Agent: 24/7 Digital Travel Hub" is a smart solution specifically designed to enhance urban resilience and boost traveler confidence. Built on the LangGraph architecture and integrated with multiple Large Language Models (LLMs), the system utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) to precisely understand user needs. It supports over 20 languages, providing authoritative information ranging from local culture to real-time post-disaster traffic updates and safe routing. As the first AI Agent in Taiwan capable of proactively calling multi-source real-time APIs across various government departments, it combines LBS (Location-Based Services) with a professionally maintained RAG authoritative knowledge base. This allows the system to push precise safety alerts and personalized itinerary recommendations to users. Through deep OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) integration, the service extends from digital platforms to major transportation hubs, visitor centers, and local businesses. It not only demonstrates the resilience of digital governance but also fully empowers the tourism industry to accelerate its recovery.

Dr. Hung-Lung Lin’s Team – An Auxiliary Assessment System for Coronary Heart Disease Identification In response to population aging and the younger onset of coronary heart disease (CHD), this study develops an AI-based auxiliary CHD screening system integrated into a mobile app. Grounded in traditional Chinese medicine tongue–heart theory, the system analyzes sublingual vascular images using reflection removal, image segmentation, and a multi-head attention deep learning model. Users can obtain accurate, reproducible screening results and health recommendations within 7–20 seconds using only a smartphone, enabling convenient and cost-effective preliminary CHD assessment.

With our fiber sDAS, Wave-In effectively reduce mobile signal dead spots caused by insufficient base station coverage, buildings or electromagnetic signal interference. Due to the pandemic, Taiwanese Engineers weren’t able to assist with on-site installation and coverage testing, to solve this problem and improve efficiency, Wave-In utilized Mixed Reality for collaboration and remote assistance.
