High-Density Network Integration Solution for Large-Scale Esports Events
During WirForce 2024, the largest LAN Party in Asia, the Omada business networking solution provided full network support for 1,400 BYOC players. Over four days, the network handled more than 6,000 wired devices and 800 wireless devices, with total data traffic exceeding 1,800TB, demonstrating exceptional performance and reliability.
Through the Omada centralized cloud management platform, network administrators were able to monitor network status in real time, rapidly identify issues, and maintain high-speed, stable connectivity throughout the event.
Key components included EAP773 Wi-Fi 7 access points, delivering BE11000 ultra-high-speed connections and seamless roaming, along with high-performance L2/L3 switches supporting 10G throughput and PoE power to ensure stable data transmission under extreme traffic loads. An OC300 hardware controller enabled real-time monitoring and flexible network management.
By successfully addressing the challenges of ultra-high density and massive traffic demand, Omada and WirForce jointly delivered a premium esports networking experience.

The Track Safety Management System is primarily aimed at addressing safety concerns along the track. It provides real-time monitoring, statistics, and detection-triggered alerts for trackside environments including stations, level crossings, along the track, and slope areas. The goal of this management system is to establish early warning alerts and prevent accidents from causing damage. Through the intelligent AIOT recognition monitoring system, it detects and analyzes station pedestrian traffic, tracks pedestrians at level crossings, identifies passing vehicles and traffic flow, detects foreign objects at level crossings and activates alarms, monitors personnel lingering and debris along the track, conducts rockfall monitoring on slopes with a rain gauge, monitors the environmental conditions in equipment boxes, and oversees the operation status of level crossing equipment. The monitoring data and image information are transmitted to the management system platform for integrated management via fiber-optic networks, NBIOT, or mobile communication. Additionally, it provides central management personnel with real-time interpretation and remote control in case of anomalies.

Just Transition Commission
To establish a civil participation mechanism to widely gather opinions from all sectors, the National Development Council has established the "Just Transition Commission." The committee follows a principle of equal representation between governmental agencies and civil society. Members serve a term of two years. The government agency representatives on the committee are deputy ministers from ministries responsible for the 12 key strategies of the 2050 net-zero transition and related issues of just transition. In addition, the members of the civil society include citizen groups focused on environmental, labor, and indigenous issues, as well as representatives from social enterprises and experts/scholars in the field of economic industries. The committee has four working groups: an academic group, a strategic review group, an issue identification group and an influence group. The public-private partnership will work together to promote a net-zero fair transition.
Additionally, this year, multiple public consultation sessions are planned to gather current visions and expectations for a net-zero fair transition from all sectors, aiming to enhance public awareness of net-zero carbon emissions and fair transition.
