Prof. Chia-Hsin Chen’s Team – An Innovative AI-Powered Tongue Vibration Training System This project develops an AI-driven tongue vibration training system for dysphagia and obstructive sleep apnea. It combines a safe, adjustable tongue device, AI motion tracking with real-time biofeedback, EEG-based cognitive monitoring, and AR-based gamified training to deliver personalized, engaging, and data-driven rehabilitation.

Qualcomm Terrestrial Positioning Service (TPS) provides high-accuracy geolocation and wayfinding capabilities for mobile and industrial devices by leveraging nearby Wi-Fi, cellular base stations, and terrestrial signals such as Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE), enabling precise positioning virtually anywhere. It offers flexible integration options through software packages and APIs that can be easily incorporated across diverse hardware and platforms. Designed with battery efficiency in mind, intelligent algorithms support always-on or periodic cloud-based location updates, optimizing power consumption for different usage scenarios. Integrating data of water quality and water consumption, the online system will automatically conduct continuous data monitoring, and can be applied for both clean water and sewage water measurement. 2. Real-time monitoring: Seize real-time water information to maintain the stability of water quality and instantly react when abnormal condition is detected, dramatically increasing management efficiency. 3. Smart Dosing Scenario: Integrating automatic dosing equipments with upper and lower alarm settings to ensure dynamic stability of water quality and decrease labor cost. 4. Data Analysis: Apply schedule planning to build up the trend of historical changes and to develop the situation management model. 5. Compliance with the regulations: Complete the full-time management mode, in compliance with the regulations of the competent authority and environmental protection standards. 6. The water quality sensor (specific model) is automatically cleaned without additional consumables and can be cleaned frequently.

A-MTK provides IP cam management tool named “IP Wizard III”for customers to manage a large number of IP cams quickly and easily. A-MTK provides following management functions: 1. Check the status and remaining capacity of the mSD card in the camera. 2. one-click to bring back various parameters of the camera: to facilitate backup and transfer to a new camera 3. Batch change IP cam image parameters, such as image compression, number of sheets, bitrate, etc. 4. batch change IP cam password: to facilitate regular password changes to meet information protection needs 5. A-MTK Camera can actively report log records, and at the same time provide CGI for the platform to capture log reports, and can be batch capture.

Criminal and street violence cases will affect and cause panic to citizens. In order to diminish street violence cases, reducing the time to solve these cases, protecting citizens’ lives and properties, and allow citizens to live without fear, the Kaohsiung City Police Department (KCPD) built the “3D Street Violence Early Warning, AI Intelligence Collection and Integration Platform” (hereinafter called “the Platform”). The platform utilizes the Internet of Things (IoT) to combine AI image recognition and sound sensing technologies for cross-domain big data analyses. KCPD established cross-platform data interfacing and integration, mainly through “data integration” and “network analyses” to collect with the municipal government’s transportation bureaus and social bureaus; and import existing data from the KCPD data platforms. The Platform will, through web service API, (a) retrieve data built by information systems, (b) conduct big data analysis, aggregate applicable intelligence data and present it in the form of dynamic information, (c) Integrate all information and display it as maps and topologies, improve case handling efficiency. According to KCPD employees’ query, they can adjust factor weights and relationships. Analyze the results based on rational mathematical models and professional case-handling concepts, so that intelligence analysis goes beyond the limitations of platform developers and allows criminal police to maximize their capabilities.

CarbonClean Energy’s CO₂ electrolysis equipment E-Oak utilizes proprietary electrochemical conversion technology to directly transform carbon dioxide into high-value chemicals such as carbon monoxide, ethanol, and ethylene. This enables waste-gas reutilization while creating additional economic value. Unlike thermochemical carbon utilization processes that require high temperature, high pressure, and hydrogen input, E-Oak operates under ambient temperature and pressure. It only requires carbon dioxide and water to drive the conversion reaction, providing enhanced operational safety. In addition, E-Oak synchronizes operational data with the cloud, allowing users to remotely monitor equipment performance. Its automatic equipment diagnostic reporting function further facilitates smarter carbon management.

The system developed by this project provides a smart solution for station including digital fence system, platform pedestrian flow analysis, animal tracking expelled system, track water situation analysis system and platform digital information signage. The platform comprehensively analyses the image of around the station, train coordinates, passenger entry and exit, and water depth etc. Which can be used for follow up review and improvement of abnormal events such as track intrusion, crowd congestion and road flooding to achieve optimal train operation configuration and class spacing control. And provide abnormal event warning and troubleshooting and passenger intelligence information services. After the integration of multiple subsystem through the IOC platform, the system will automatically alert an alarm to the traffic control center and announce the train near the area to remind the driver to pay attention to the situation and enhance the safety of the train and the people or cars in the area when the detection system alarms.
