During WirForce 2024, the largest LAN Party in Asia, the Omada business networking solution provided full network support for 1,400 BYOC players. Over four days, the network handled more than 6,000 wired devices and 800 wireless devices, with total data traffic exceeding 1,800TB, demonstrating exceptional performance and reliability. CarbonClean Energy’s CO₂ electrolysis equipment E-Oak utilizes proprietary electrochemical conversion technology to directly transform carbon dioxide into high-value chemicals such as carbon monoxide, ethanol, and ethylene. Acer ITS self-develop smart parking meter system provides vehicle detection, license plate recognition, auto-ticketing, multi-payment functions to achieve the goal of payment automation for roadside parking. It also provides instant parking space information so that drivers can see the parking availability through mobile APPs to avoid circling in the city that causing traffic jam and higher carbon emissions. It collects parking information through auto-ticketing system, and feeds in big data platform to produce accurate turnover rate and usage rate. These data are the base of policy making for parking authorities. Applications with automation, intellectualization and mobilization provide drivers with nice parking experiences, and enhance parking management performance for parking authorities. Let smart parking become new smart city indicator for satisfied people and high performance government.

The system developed by this project provides a smart solution for station including digital fence system, platform pedestrian flow analysis, animal tracking expelled system, track water situation analysis system and platform digital information signage. The platform comprehensively analyses the image of around the station, train coordinates, passenger entry and exit, and water depth etc. Which can be used for follow up review and improvement of abnormal events such as track intrusion, crowd congestion and road flooding to achieve optimal train operation configuration and class spacing control. And provide abnormal event warning and troubleshooting and passenger intelligence information services. After the integration of multiple subsystem through the IOC platform, the system will automatically alert an alarm to the traffic control center and announce the train near the area to remind the driver to pay attention to the situation and enhance the safety of the train and the people or cars in the area when the detection system alarms.

In alignment with global sustainable tourism trends and Taiwan’s “2050 Net-Zero Emissions Pathway,” Nantou County launched the Nantou Sustainable Tourism Campaign (NSTC) in 2024 in partnership with National Chi Nan University. Through systematic carbon footprint assessments, Nantou has developed nine net-zero itineraries and twenty-three low-carbon routes, covering one- to three-day immersive experiences. These itineraries adopt the internationally recognized Gold Standard carbon offset mechanism to ensure measurable emission reduction. By integrating data-driven governance with green practices, NSTC positions Nantou as a leading model for sustainable tourism transformation and low-carbon regional development.

In 2025, Nantou County launched the nation’s first “Home Medication Delivery Service System.” This innovative service allows elderly residents or their family members to apply and make appointments online. Licensed pharmacists then deliver medications directly to the patient’s home free of charge. By integrating technology with compassionate care, the program promotes medication equity and enhances medication safety for vulnerable populations. It also reduces the caregiving burden caused by long travel distances and limited transportation options. Through this initiative, Nantou County is committed to building an age-friendly city that ensures accessible, safe, and dignified healthcare services for all residents.
