In the public building sector, FET is developing integrated solutions for “Net-Zero and Disaster-Resilient Energy Storage.” Combining net-zero strategies with Energy Management Systems (EMS), FET deploys renewable energy, energy storage, and smart energy-saving mechanisms. This approach balances carbon reduction with power resilience, supporting the public sector in enhancing sustainability and disaster preparedness. A key achievement is the National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) Gymnasium project, where FET implemented an advanced energy management platform integrating power monitoring, smart HVAC control, and renewable energy with storage systems. These efforts improved energy efficiency, provided a model for transitioning public buildings to net-zero, and earned the client Level 1+ Green Building certification. Looking ahead, FET will continue investing in net-zero buildings, energy storage, and resilient energy systems. Through collaboration with government, academia, and industry partners, FET aims to accelerate Taiwan’s progress toward sustainable development goals, advancing both net-zero emissions and disaster prevention.

The Intelligent Building Management System (iBMS) is a large-scale and flexible industrial control platform. ITS traffic data collection has solved the laborious and time-consuming task of manually calculating traffic flow in the past. It aims to achieve the goals of smoother road conditions and reduced accidents through intelligent traffic diagnosis. By utilizing intelligent transportation systems, the system automatically tracks vehicles, identifies vehicle types, predicts trajectories, and transforms the data into useful information. This assists in real-time interpretation and improvement of traffic engineering. This system is particularly crucial in Taiwan, where over 60% of traffic accidents occur at intersections. Through big data analysis, identifying issues and formulating solutions is possible, thereby lowering accident risks. This approach proves more effective than simple advocacy and alerts.

This project is deployed in a large-scale fish farming area in southern Taiwan, where ponds are widely distributed and geographically fragmented, creating challenges for long-distance network connectivity and real-time surveillance. The solution utilizes fiber optic links as the backbone to ensure stable long-range transmission across the site. EAP610-Outdoor wireless access points are deployed to extend network coverage through a mesh architecture, effectively reducing the need for repetitive cabling. For surveillance, the system integrates an NVR4032H with InSight S345 and InSight S345ZI bullet cameras, delivering stable and reliable video transmission. Combined with PoE switches, this solution establishes a flexible, efficient, and reliable network and intelligent surveillance infrastructure tailored for aquaculture management.

Smart parking EV charger combines smart parking and charge service to provide total solution for roadside and off street parking. Integrates with license plate recognition system, it not only issue parking ticket, but also reduce occupation of fossil fuel vehicle and prolong parking with parking space barrier or other solutions. With smart card, the drivers do not require membership for charge and parking service.

A-MTK Expands Presence in TRA Stations 2025 Project Installation Scope: Zuoying, Neiwei, Museum of Fine Arts, Gushan, Sankuaicuo, Kaohsiung, Minzu, Science and Technology Museum, Zhengyi, and Fengshan Stations To enhance station security and management efficiency, ten TRA stations in Kaohsiung will be newly equipped with A-MTK IP cameras, expanding surveillance coverage and integrating with the access control system. The project achieves the following outcomes: Video Surveillance Deployment: Multi-point installation of A-MTK IP cameras inside and outside stations, providing real-time monitoring, event recording, and playback. Access Control + Video Integration: When an abnormal access event occurs (such as unauthorized card use or forced door opening), the system automatically pops up the corresponding camera feed and simultaneously sends an alarm notification to the management center. Centralized Monitoring Platform: The Kaohsiung control center can instantly oversee access control status and video feeds, achieving cross-station integrated management. Cybersecurity and Reliability: A-MTK is ISO 27001 certified; IP cameras are CE/FCC/BSMI certified. With system disconnection recovery, continuous operation is ensured without interruption.
