This project is deployed in a large-scale fish farming area in southern Taiwan, where ponds are widely distributed and geographically fragmented, creating challenges for long-distance network connectivity and real-time surveillance. The solution utilizes fiber optic links as the backbone to ensure stable long-range transmission across the site. EAP610-Outdoor wireless access points are deployed to extend network coverage through a mesh architecture, effectively reducing the need for repetitive cabling. For surveillance, the system integrates an NVR4032H with InSight S345 and InSight S345ZI bullet cameras, delivering stable and reliable video transmission. Combined with PoE switches, this solution establishes a flexible, efficient, and reliable network and intelligent surveillance infrastructure tailored for aquaculture management.

Traffic approach warning system is the combination of smart detectors and LED warning signs. The intersection is divided into detection lanes and warning lanes. Smart detectors are installed on the detection lanes. When a vehicle enters the detection area, the signal is transmitted to activate the LED signs on the warning lane to warn drivers to slow down in advance.

By utilizing intelligent transportation systems, the system automatically tracks vehicles, identifies vehicle types, predicts trajectories, and transforms the data into useful information. This assists in real-time interpretation and improvement of traffic engineering. This system is particularly crucial in Taiwan, where over 60% of traffic accidents occur at intersections. Through big data analysis, identifying issues and formulating solutions is possible, thereby lowering accident risks. This approach proves more effective than simple advocacy and alerts.

EdgeLink-X is an AI-driven heterogeneous edge-network platform built to provide resilient, low-latency connectivity for intelligent transportation and railway environments. The system forms a multi-layer architecture that unifies field communications, sensing, video capture, and edge analytics into a reliable and adaptive communication framework. At the field level, IP110H and IP503H Lite IP radios deliver instant voice communication and group coordination for frontline personnel. Sensors and cameras are connected through the AG260 AIoT Gateway, while the AS710 Wi-Fi 7 indoor access point provides high-quality Wi-Fi coverage in stations, platforms, and passenger areas to enhance traveler connectivity. Long-range, time-synchronized backhaul is supported by the SP250 Series, ensuring stable, high-throughput wireless links across trackside and outdoor environments. To achieve intelligent service, zMEC ’s platform as service through Kubernetes-based architecture which can not only integrate with the third-party but also expand different AIoT software application modules, such as identification and analysis, electronic fence. Besides, the technology of edge computing can reduce the demand of video and audio data for cloud center computing access and network bandwidth resources, so as to make up for the problem of traditional cloud computing delay and unsafe transmission link.
