In response to the city's population growth and the increasing demand for care needs, the Department establishes daycare and infant care centers. Several smart care technologies are being incorporated into the centers, such as access control by facial recognition, indoor air quality monitoring, vital signs measurement, cloud system of case management, and mobile app for family members. These technologies are reducing the administrative workload for caregivers, they can focus on care professions rather than paper works, with enhanced person-to-person interactions.
