Since 2021, Taiwan AI Cloud has launched the “AIHPC Accelerator” to foster a collaborative AI ecosystem. The AIHPC Accelerator program is designed to support AI startups in matching with smart application scenarios and commercializing their products. By complementing the roles of third-party accelerators, incubators, and startup support centers, Taiwan AI Cloud provides a comprehensive business development platform for Taiwan’s AI startups. Within just one year, the program achieved outstanding results, signing partnerships with more than 60 startups.

The system automatically counts people, tracks direction, monitors density, and provides instant alerts and reports. Deep learning ensures accuracy in low-light or crowded conditions. Multi-target tracking prevents double-counting. Edge computing and cloud-based management enable on-site analysis and long-term monitoring. Integrating cameras, infrared, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth data improves detection and increases coverage. The system generates real-time heat maps, flow analyses, and historical records. These support layout optimization, entry regulation, evacuation planning, and efficiency. The system serves malls, transit hubs, campuses, parks, and public buildings. It is vital for smart cities. It replaces manual counting with intelligent management for better safety, responsiveness, and adaptability.

Nearly one-third of the population in Yunlin County are first-tier industrial workers, mainly agricultural planting and fishery breeding. Through the inventory of various key program modules of scientific and technological agriculture and through service and product design, the six-tier digital system has been completed. It has been effectively improving the first-tier Industrial productivity and filling the gap in production instability, and receiving a solution for the lack of labor and the approval of the National Development Council Plan. This will also make Yunlin a place where cases of digital transformation and creation blooming. This service is introduced into multiple towns and villages in Yunlin County and 350 jobs have been created and about 320 million production value have been increased.The project won the 2022 “Smart City Innovation Application Awards".

airaTrack is a comprehensive personnel tracking system that utilizes AI algorithms developed by our team to extract features from both the "face and figure." It generates unique biometric IDs with a recognition accuracy of up to 99%, all without the need for registering facial data, addressing privacy concerns. Capable of cross-camera searches and matching 10,000 faces per second, it significantly enhances the efficiency of traditional manual matching processes and increases search efficiency and accuracy by 97% enabling automatic path tracking of personnel in the field. The system also generates investigation reports for evidential preservation.

"EUP Fleet Management System" can easily manage the core needs of vehicle dynamics, task progress, emergency response, and utilize AI to analyze driving behavior, fuel consumption, and effectively control costs. In addition, EUP provides comprehensive safety driving checks, tracks driver driving habits and physiological monitoring, significantly improving driving safety, and assisting companies in building a safe, efficient, and low-carbon transportation fleet.

This project integrates cable TV systems, Civil IoT, and AI video recognition technology to build smart disaster prevention and site safety services. Centered on set-top boxes (STB) and intelligent sensing, the solution focuses on bridging the gap in real-time information and safety protection for elderly and rural populations. Through its wired network infrastructure, the system developed under this project is capable of delivering real-time disaster prevention information, including earthquakes, typhoons, and heavy rainfall alerts. In addition, AI-based recognition capabilities have been integrated into the system. Currently, the system has completed event recognition functions such as parcel placement and retrieval detection. It also performs analysis of human movement trajectories and abnormal group behavior detection. In the future, the system will be further expanded to identify dangerous situations such as violent behavior. Through this project, Taiwan Optical Platform (TOP) demonstrates the potential of integrating cable television networks with AI and IoT technologies to develop a platform for smart disaster prevention and public safety applications.

Delta’s EV charging solution utilizes the self-developed DeltaGrid® EVM, an electric vehicle charging management system for smart charging, power allocation, and charging equipment management. To avoid exceeding the site’s power limit during simultaneous charging, which could result in fines or power outages, the depot adopted a smart charging management system to effectively address power overuse and charging allocation issues. Under limited power conditions, the system efficiently allocates charging power for the electric buses and provides flexibility for future fleet expansion. To address the challenges of charging commercial fleets, the system has dedicated features that were developed for electric buses and commercial fleet charging needs, including Vehicle Identification, Site Current Limitation, Real-Time Alerts, etc, effectively enhances charging efficiency, optimizes operational benefits for electric fleets, and successfully demonstrates the transformation to the electrification of transportation.

Multi-payment bus validator takes smart card, mobile payment for bus fare. The transaction data transfer through designated channel to the backend system, smart card issuers, mobile payment operators to perform clearance process. All the validators comply with operation standards and receive certification from smart card issuers, mobile payment operators and TTIA.

MIRDC’s continuously Rotating Wind Turbine UAV Inspection System can effectively inspect the working wind turbine without interference. It takes 5 minutes to complete the inspection of a single blade to effectively detect 4mm small cracks. The system will not lose power generation by turning off the wind turbine, further observes the actual movement status of running blade structure and pillars to grasp the defects beforehand.

Prof. Chia-Hsin Chen’s Team – An Innovative AI-Powered Tongue Vibration Training System This project develops an AI-driven tongue vibration training system for dysphagia and obstructive sleep apnea. It combines a safe, adjustable tongue device, AI motion tracking with real-time biofeedback, EEG-based cognitive monitoring, and AR-based gamified training to deliver personalized, engaging, and data-driven rehabilitation.
