Traffic approach warning system is the combination of smart detectors and LED warning signs. The intersection is divided into detection lanes and warning lanes. Smart detectors are installed on the detection lanes. When a vehicle enters the detection area, the signal is transmitted to activate the LED signs on the warning lane to warn drivers to slow down in advance.

Civil IoT Taiwan is part of the government’s Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program under the Digital Infrastructure category. Criminal and street violence cases will affect and cause panic to citizens. In order to diminish street violence cases, reducing the time to solve these cases, protecting citizens’ lives and properties, and allow citizens to live without fear, the Kaohsiung City Police Department (KCPD) built the “3D Street Violence Early Warning, AI Intelligence Collection and Integration Platform” (hereinafter called “the Platform”). The platform utilizes the Internet of Things (IoT) to combine AI image recognition and sound sensing technologies for cross-domain big data analyses. KCPD established cross-platform data interfacing and integration, mainly through “data integration” and “network analyses” to collect with the municipal government’s transportation bureaus and social bureaus; and import existing data from the KCPD data platforms. The Platform will, through web service API, (a) retrieve data built by information systems, (b) conduct big data analysis, aggregate applicable intelligence data and present it in the form of dynamic information, (c) Integrate all information and display it as maps and topologies, improve case handling efficiency. According to KCPD employees’ query, they can adjust factor weights and relationships. Analyze the results based on rational mathematical models and professional case-handling concepts, so that intelligence analysis goes beyond the limitations of platform developers and allows criminal police to maximize their capabilities.

The Ministry of Environment has promoted the deployment and application of the Internet of Things for empty product sensing since 2017, and has deployed approximately 10,000 sensors to make up for the deficiencies in time and spatial resolution of standard monitoring stations. Among them, in 2022, it expanded from the Taiwan island to Lienchiang County on the outlying Island. Its unique geographical location is more conducive to early warning of transboundary pollutants and reminds people to take precautions in advance.

With the rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) in Taiwan, the demand for charging infrastructure is increasing. However, most developments focus on high-power DC fast charging systems, which face significant challenges. Complicated feeder application procedures and imbalances in urban power grids make it difficult to deploy medium and large-scale charging stations. While AC chargers (up to 22kW) are easier to install, they fail to meet the need for fast and efficient charging. To address these challenges, GREAT introduces the "Charging Silk Road" solution. This innovative system combines advanced energy storage systems (ESS) with fast charging equipment to enable independent power supply and reduce reliance on the public grid. By integrating renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, the system maximizes energy efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, the solution features Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) capability, allowing stored energy to be fed back to the grid during peak demand or emergencies, supporting grid stability. Through a distributed, multi-site deployment model based on independent microgrids, GREAT’s Charging Silk Road creates a flexible, resilient, and efficient green charging network, accelerating the transition to net-zero carbon emissions.

IISI has a number of solutions for smart image processing, the main application areas are smart transportation, smart disaster prevention, security monitoring, etc. The main products include iTrafficView and iSurveillance. iTrafficView is a server-based image recognition detection system that receive real-time video streaming from on-site network cameras and instantly performs image recognition and event detection to provide monitoring services immediately. Furthermore, the system records related identification and detection data for consecutive statistical and analysis procedure. The advanced hybrid DVR and intelligent management platform offers a one-stop solution to enhance both analog, digital, and IP convergence. "iSurveillance" is an intelligent Hybrid DVR that supports analog and IP cameras. It applies the ASF compression for efficient data management, flexible and compatible with various brands of surveillance devices.

In order to save the use of natural resources, implement resource recycling and reuse, reduce processing costs and reduce environmental load. We use the recycling processing technology to transfer the remaining cutting materials of the ALC body, as well as industrial by-products and domestic waste resources (waste glass) back to the ALC raw material for use. Actual testing of the product shows that the reuse technology is feasible, the quality is stable, and the efficiency of waste reduction and carbon reduction is high.
