Under the theme “Economy Next,” the Ministry of Economic Affairs presents dual pavilions on AI and net zero, illustrating Taiwan’s vision for dual transformation. The Net Zero Pavilion showcases resilient green energy systems and low-carbon supply chains, while the Industries AI Pavilion highlights advanced technologies and smart applications that delivers concrete solutions across industries in hope of fostering collaboration opportunities with global partners.

In response to the rapid transition into a super-aged society, Nantou County faces significant challenges due to its vast geographic area and the uneven and insufficient distribution of medical resources. Many elderly residents and persons with disabilities experience difficulties in accessing prescription medications. In 2025, Nantou County launched the nation’s first “Home Medication Delivery Service System.” This innovative service allows elderly residents or their family members to apply and make appointments online. Licensed pharmacists then deliver medications directly to the patient’s home free of charge. By integrating technology with compassionate care, the program promotes medication equity and enhances medication safety for vulnerable populations. It also reduces the caregiving burden caused by long travel distances and limited transportation options. Through this initiative, Nantou County is committed to building an age-friendly city that ensures accessible, safe, and dignified healthcare services for all residents.

DeltaGrid® low-carbon emission energy solution focuses on the four major perspectives of energy creation, energy storage, energy control, and energy saving. It integrates solar energy, energy storage, EV chargers, energy management, as well as energy saving software and hardware products to provide a practical transformation solution that helps strengthen grid resilience, optimize energy dispatching, enhance renewable energy utilization, and achieve cost and energy saving, carbon emission reduction, and net zero sustainability goals. The solution is for four major areas, including power plants, industrial and commercial factories, electric vehicle charging stations, and community residences, so that renewable energy can be stably connected to the grid, stabilize the electricity consumption of industrial and commercial factories, and improve the operating efficiency of charging stations.

The “MiAIOT x 5G Railway Safety Management System was developed based on MiTAC’s in house AIoT platform-“MiAIoT”, and will assist the digital transformation of Taiwan's rail industry in the future, including cloud-based train operating data exchange, real-time train warning system, AI equipment abnormality prediction, and feeding all these crucial information to a situation “war room”.

Leveraging world-class 5G and advanced technologies, FET has built a “5G Telemedicine Platform” to deliver mobile, zero-day telemedicine services. This year, 5G telemedicine has expanded to 15 counties and 59 districts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we also supported hospitals in providing remote clinical services and maintaining routine medical care. In recent years, the number of motor vehicle noise cases has increased, and it has been a concern for people in Taiwan. In order to protect the living environment and eliminate improper vehicle modifications, the Ministry of Environment has used acoustic camera technology for law enforcement since 2021. The system contains several scientific instruments, including a license plate recognition function that helps authorities identify noisy vehicles. Technology also improves inspection efficiency and quality of noisy vehicles. Existing roadside inspections require onsite noise measurement. The stationary noise test takes at least 20 minutes for each vehicle. Law enforcement using acoustic camera technology can simultaneously record videos, take photos, identify vehicles and complete noise measurements, to increase efficiency by a factor of 200. It is no longer necessary to use a large amount of manpower to carry out checks and inspections, greatly reducing labor costs. The Acoustic Camera equipment equipment used in this exhibition is provided by OE Scientech Co., Ltd. They not only supply fixed or mobile sound-based photography equipment to Taipei City, Taichung City, Chiayi City, and Changhua County but also have extensive experience in assisting with technology enforcement operations.

Energy accounts for large portion of business cost, well 40~50% of it are rises from air conditioning. e-Formula offers an ideal solution for energy management through advance technology from Taiwan. We provide e-Form with big data 、AI and cloud technology, it's an energy dashboard for the client demonstrating current status of equipment and service, and a global energy consumption, improving power management equipment longevity and risk management for the managers. It safes energy from both directions by decreasing consumption and increasing efficiency.

1.Special design of water metering structure for users of high-rise building and smart houses. 2.Multiple water meters are connected in series to share the construction cost, which is most in line with economic benefits. 3.Graphical presentation of water usage data helps users manage water consumption. 4.Combined with the alarms of abnormal conditions, if there is suspected water leakage or suspected reverse flow, the system will take the initiative to inform. 5.Assist in water and water conservation management, and help users formulate exclusive usage warning ranges.

The system developed by this project provides a smart solution for station including digital fence system, platform pedestrian flow analysis, animal tracking expelled system, track water situation analysis system and platform digital information signage. The platform comprehensively analyses the image of around the station, train coordinates, passenger entry and exit, and water depth etc. Which can be used for follow up review and improvement of abnormal events such as track intrusion, crowd congestion and road flooding to achieve optimal train operation configuration and class spacing control. And provide abnormal event warning and troubleshooting and passenger intelligence information services. After the integration of multiple subsystem through the IOC platform, the system will automatically alert an alarm to the traffic control center and announce the train near the area to remind the driver to pay attention to the situation and enhance the safety of the train and the people or cars in the area when the detection system alarms.

This project is deployed in a large-scale fish farming area in southern Taiwan, where ponds are widely distributed and geographically fragmented, creating challenges for long-distance network connectivity and real-time surveillance. The solution utilizes fiber optic links as the backbone to ensure stable long-range transmission across the site. EAP610-Outdoor wireless access points are deployed to extend network coverage through a mesh architecture, effectively reducing the need for repetitive cabling. For surveillance, the system integrates an NVR4032H with InSight S345 and InSight S345ZI bullet cameras, delivering stable and reliable video transmission. Combined with PoE switches, this solution establishes a flexible, efficient, and reliable network and intelligent surveillance infrastructure tailored for aquaculture management.

Yunlin County Government is dedicated to establishing a human-centric smart agriculture, providing services for digital and green transformation to overcome industry challenges and climate change. People collaborate with machines, automation equipment, and computers to enhance industrial productivity by using information technology. Simultaneously, it promotes Intelligence Augmentation (IA), fostering the growth of industry personnel capabilities. To accelerate agricultural transformation, solutions are developed with experts in various fields of agriculture and livestock. Through sharing successful case studies, the aim is to guide industry stakeholders to embrace new knowledge and technologies. Additionally, counseling teams assist farmer groups in transitioning towards a smart agriculture concept that combines 'smart technology' and the 'net-zero emission' approach. The development focuses on creating a future agriculture model primarily based on automation and AI, striving for efficiency, quality, and Intelligent Automation (IA).The project won the 2024 Smart City Innovation Application Awards.
