Prof. Ming-Chung Chou’s Team – Intelligent X-ray Imaging System Traditional X-ray imaging depends on experienced radiographers to balance image quality and radiation dose. Automatic exposure control may misjudge patients with poor positioning or metallic implants, increasing radiation by about 20%. This study develops an AI-based X-ray imaging system with non-contact body thickness measurement. By integrating patient height and weight, the system automatically determines optimal exposure parameters, ensuring stable image quality while reducing unnecessary radiation and cancer risk.

MSA redefines the standards for firefighting, rescue, and industrial safety through the Internet of Things (IoT). The Smart Firefighting system integrates MSA M1/G1 SCBA with advanced telemetry technology to provide real-time monitoring of critical data, including cylinder pressure, remaining service time, and personnel movement. By leveraging the FireGrid cloud platform, all data is seamlessly transmitted to the command center, transforming traditional incident scene management into real-time digital decision-making. This solution significantly enhances operational efficiency and maximizes the safety of first responders in hazardous environments.

Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) is committed to corporate sustainability and net-zero transformation. By integrating telecommunications with digital technologies, FET helps industries and society reduce carbon emissions. In the public building sector, FET is developing integrated solutions for “Net-Zero and Disaster-Resilient Energy Storage.” Combining net-zero strategies with Energy Management Systems (EMS), FET deploys renewable energy, energy storage, and smart energy-saving mechanisms. A-MTK Expands Presence in TRA Stations 2025 Project Installation Scope: Zuoying, Neiwei, Museum of Fine Arts, Gushan, Sankuaicuo, Kaohsiung, Minzu, Science and Technology Museum, Zhengyi, and Fengshan Stations To enhance station security and management efficiency, ten TRA stations in Kaohsiung will be newly equipped with A-MTK IP cameras, expanding surveillance coverage and integrating with the access control system. The project achieves the following outcomes: Video Surveillance Deployment: Multi-point installation of A-MTK IP cameras inside and outside stations, providing real-time monitoring, event recording, and playback. Access Control + Video Integration: When an abnormal access event occurs (such as unauthorized card use or forced door opening), the system automatically pops up the corresponding camera feed and simultaneously sends an alarm notification to the management center. Centralized Monitoring Platform: The Kaohsiung control center can instantly oversee access control status and video feeds, achieving cross-station integrated management. Cybersecurity and Reliability: A-MTK is ISO 27001 certified; IP cameras are CE/FCC/BSMI certified. With system disconnection recovery, continuous operation is ensured without interruption.

Dr. Hung-Lung Lin’s Team – An Auxiliary Assessment System for Coronary Heart Disease Identification In response to population aging and the younger onset of coronary heart disease (CHD), this study develops an AI-based auxiliary CHD screening system integrated into a mobile app. Grounded in traditional Chinese medicine tongue–heart theory, the system analyzes sublingual vascular images using reflection removal, image segmentation, and a multi-head attention deep learning model. Users can obtain accurate, reproducible screening results and health recommendations within 7–20 seconds using only a smartphone, enabling convenient and cost-effective preliminary CHD assessment.

Extreme rainfall events have increased the frequency of flooding, creating an urgent need for timely and reliable monitoring of urban drainage systems. The Smart Water Monitoring solution deploys water-level sensors and communication devices within stormwater drainage networks to ensure continuous data transmission.
