Operation of Air Quality Forecast System
This exhibition is an atmospheric physical-chemical grid model for prediction of changes in air quality, utilizing data from the U.S. NCEP global weather forecast and regional air pollutant emissions. Local scientific investigation data has been used to adjust and calibrate the model and thereby largely improve the accuracy of the air quality forecast over Taiwan. The system is capable of simulating the changes in air quality over the next three days (72 hours) in Taiwan, with a temporal resolution of 1 hour and a spatial resolution of 3 km. The simulated data can be integrated with air quality data from the Civil IoT Taiwan, informing regulatory authorities the changes in air quality for the near future, and key information for formulation of control strategies

Efficient Charging & Storage System
With the rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) in Taiwan, the demand for charging infrastructure is increasing. However, most developments focus on high-power DC fast charging systems, which face significant challenges. Complicated feeder application procedures and imbalances in urban power grids make it difficult to deploy medium and large-scale charging stations. While AC chargers (up to 22kW) are easier to install, they fail to meet the need for fast and efficient charging. To address these challenges, GREAT introduces the "Charging Silk Road" solution. This innovative system combines advanced energy storage systems (ESS) with fast charging equipment to enable independent power supply and reduce reliance on the public grid. By integrating renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, the system maximizes energy efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, the solution features Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) capability, allowing stored energy to be fed back to the grid during peak demand or emergencies, supporting grid stability. Through a distributed, multi-site deployment model based on independent microgrids, GREAT’s Charging Silk Road creates a flexible, resilient, and efficient green charging network, accelerating the transition to net-zero carbon emissions.

Weigh in Motion is becoming widely adopted by many cities around the world to manage the access of heavy goods vehicles. Highway authorities are also using WiM as a tool to charge tolls by vehicles' weights and further prevent overweight vehicles to enter certain road sections. FETC International adopts pre-selection model and three gantry structure and deploys WiM sensors and equipment to collect vehicle data and then transmit data to computerized platform for weight management and send alerts to enforcement if a vehicle doesn't comply weight limits. ​

Recycling waste resources into ALC lightweight building materials
In order to save the use of natural resources, implement resource recycling and reuse, reduce processing costs and reduce environmental load. We use the recycling processing technology to transfer the remaining cutting materials of the ALC body, as well as industrial by-products and domestic waste resources (waste glass) back to the ALC raw material for use. Actual testing of the product shows that the reuse technology is feasible, the quality is stable, and the efficiency of waste reduction and carbon reduction is high. Now It has obtained the environmental protection label from the Ministry of Environment and the green building materials label from the Ministry of Interior.

Wonder Greener believes “straws” should naturally be reaped from soil! We plant “Lepironia articulata”, a kind of water grass, and turn which into 100% green drinking straws with our patented low-carbon process of production; meanwhile, promoting multiple ESG values. A NBS (Nature-based Solution) for sequestrating CO2 is a critical methodology on global carbon-net zero pathway, and currently proved the best practice as well. Growing Lepironia is a kind of “No-till farming”, which means we don’t plow on soil. Without tillage, the potential of soil carbon credits would be huge. We assess the carbon emission of every straw would confidently be “negative” with our low-carbon process of production. Besides throwing back to the farms, the wastes of farming and manufacturing grass straws, and even used straws, can be efficiently recycled to make “Lepironia-algae Tableware” with innovative algae technology. We try to combine “yellow carbon” from soil and “blue carbon” from oceans to create totally bio-degradable and recyclable green materials.
