This project is deployed in a large-scale fish farming area in southern Taiwan, where ponds are widely distributed and geographically fragmented, creating challenges for long-distance network connectivity and real-time surveillance. The solution utilizes fiber optic links as the backbone to ensure stable long-range transmission across the site. EAP610-Outdoor wireless access points are deployed to extend network coverage through a mesh architecture, effectively reducing the need for repetitive cabling. For surveillance, the system integrates an NVR4032H with InSight S345 and InSight S345ZI bullet cameras, delivering stable and reliable video transmission. Combined with PoE switches, this solution establishes a flexible, efficient, and reliable network and intelligent surveillance infrastructure tailored for aquaculture management.

In recent years, the number of motor vehicle noise cases has increased, and it has been a concern for people in Taiwan. In order to protect the living environment and eliminate improper vehicle modifications, the Ministry of Environment has used acoustic camera technology for law enforcement since 2021. The system contains several scientific instruments, including a license plate recognition function that helps authorities identify noisy vehicles. Technology also improves inspection efficiency and quality of noisy vehicles. Existing roadside inspections require onsite noise measurement. The stationary noise test takes at least 20 minutes for each vehicle. Law enforcement using acoustic camera technology can simultaneously record videos, take photos, identify vehicles and complete noise measurements, to increase efficiency by a factor of 200. It is no longer necessary to use a large amount of manpower to carry out checks and inspections, greatly reducing labor costs. The Acoustic Camera equipment equipment used in this exhibition is provided by OE Scientech Co., Ltd. They not only supply fixed or mobile sound-based photography equipment to Taipei City, Taichung City, Chiayi City, and Changhua County but also have extensive experience in assisting with technology enforcement operations.

To avoid exceeding the site’s power limit during simultaneous charging, which could result in fines or power outages, the depot adopted a smart charging management system to effectively address power overuse and charging allocation issues. Under limited power conditions, the system efficiently allocates charging power for the electric buses and provides flexibility for future fleet expansion. To address the challenges of charging commercial fleets, the system has dedicated features that were developed for electric buses and commercial fleet charging needs, including Vehicle Identification, Site Current Limitation, Real-Time Alerts, etc, effectively enhances charging efficiency, optimizes operational benefits for electric fleets, and successfully demonstrates the transformation to the electrification of transportation.

Smart Multifunctional Periodontal Pathology Quick Screening System (SMPPQSS) is the first product able to automatically identify the position of teeth and then to calculate the distribution area of dental plaque simultaneously. The system also provides a new painless gingivitis examination method that could relief examining discomfort. Neither the need of the plaque disclosing tablet nor a probe to penetrate into the patient’s periodontal pocket to determine the degree of periodontitis. Once all tooth-related data is automatically filled into the periodontal digits, the medical record sheet is uploaded to the system directly. It shortens the process to less than 10 minutes, greatly reducing the discomfort of patients during the examination as well as shortening the time doctors need to diagnose and record. SMPPQSS is easy to operate and portable. Dentists or dental assistants can check periodontal health quickly with no restriction of facilities, patients can receive a more convenient medical care even in remote rural areas or at home, or with limited mobility.
