Prof. Ming-Chung Chou’s Team – Intelligent X-ray Imaging System Traditional X-ray imaging depends on experienced radiographers to balance image quality and radiation dose. Automatic exposure control may misjudge patients with poor positioning or metallic implants, increasing radiation by about 20%. This study develops an AI-based X-ray imaging system with non-contact body thickness measurement. By integrating patient height and weight, the system automatically determines optimal exposure parameters, ensuring stable image quality while reducing unnecessary radiation and cancer risk.

A-MTK Expands Presence in TRA Stations 2025 Project Installation Scope: Zuoying, Neiwei, Museum of Fine Arts, Gushan, Sankuaicuo, Kaohsiung, Minzu, Science and Technology Museum, Zhengyi, and Fengshan Stations To enhance station security and management efficiency, ten TRA stations in Kaohsiung will be newly equipped with A-MTK IP cameras, expanding surveillance coverage and integrating with the access control system. The project achieves the following outcomes: Video Surveillance Deployment: Multi-point installation of A-MTK IP cameras inside and outside stations, providing real-time monitoring, event recording, and playback. Access Control + Video Integration: When an abnormal access event occurs (such as unauthorized card use or forced door opening), the system automatically pops up the corresponding camera feed and simultaneously sends an alarm notification to the management center. Centralized Monitoring Platform: The Kaohsiung control center can instantly oversee access control status and video feeds, achieving cross-station integrated management. Cybersecurity and Reliability: A-MTK is ISO 27001 certified; IP cameras are CE/FCC/BSMI certified. With system disconnection recovery, continuous operation is ensured without interruption.

Remote expert video collaboration solution uses AR smart glasses to transmit onsite situation to the remote technical experts with high-definition real-time video, and guide the on-site engineer to troubleshoot and repair the fault from the first-person view perspective and free their hands. To establish a civil participation mechanism to widely gather opinions from all sectors, the National Development Council has established the "Just Transition Commission." The committee follows a principle of equal representation between governmental agencies and civil society. Members serve a term of two years. The government agency representatives on the committee are deputy ministers from ministries responsible for the 12 key strategies of the 2050 net-zero transition and related issues of just transition.
