Different from traditional air conditioning system which would suspend operation upon occurrence of abnormality, TECO's system boasts active management "optimal energy conservation manage ment mode," capable of active alarming and adjustment, rather than response after occurrence of problem, thereby attaining the dual missions of "system energy conservation" and "automatic diagnosis."

Agriculture is the main industry in Yunlin County. Nearly 1/3 of the population are workers in the primary industry. In addition, more than 60% of the population in the related industry chain is engaged in agriculture-related businesses. However, due to the outflow of young people from rural areas, an aging society, and global climate anomalies have made it difficult for agriculture to maintain stable yield and quality, and the international community has responded to the issue of carbon reduction. How to balance food security and environmental sustainability has become a major issue in the current agricultural transformation. Prof. Ming-Yen Lin’s Team – A Prediction Model for Type 2 Diabetes Complications Our research group develops a decision-support prediction model for type 2 diabetes complications using data from over 163,000 Taiwanese patients. Integrating age, HbA1c, and other dynamic factors, the model estimates long-term risks of major complications and mortality, visualizes future trends, and supports personalized care planning to improve disease management and outcomes.

The platform's principal IOC monitoring and management, Open API interface, and know-how for dispatching services are integrated with multiple subsystems through the back-end management platform. When the system is abnormal, it can be quickly reflected and subsequent disposal. Significantly reduce personnel monitoring and management costs. It will also actively monitor the normal status of the equipment at usual time, when abnormal maintenance, always keep the system equipment running normally, improve the system equipment rate. Meanwhile the new way of operation of the smart city is establishing.

Nearly one-third of the population in Yunlin County are first-tier industrial workers, mainly agricultural planting and fishery breeding. Through the inventory of various key program modules of scientific and technological agriculture and through service and product design, the six-tier digital system has been completed. It has been effectively improving the first-tier Industrial productivity and filling the gap in production instability, and receiving a solution for the lack of labor and the approval of the National Development Council Plan. This will also make Yunlin a place where cases of digital transformation and creation blooming. This service is introduced into multiple towns and villages in Yunlin County and 350 jobs have been created and about 320 million production value have been increased.The project won the 2022 “Smart City Innovation Application Awards".
