This project integrates cable TV systems, Civil IoT, and AI video recognition technology to build smart disaster prevention and site safety services. Centered on set-top boxes (STB) and intelligent sensing, the solution focuses on bridging the gap in real-time information and safety protection for elderly and rural populations. Through its wired network infrastructure, the system developed under this project is capable of delivering real-time disaster prevention information, including earthquakes, typhoons, and heavy rainfall alerts. In addition, AI-based recognition capabilities have been integrated into the system. Currently, the system has completed event recognition functions such as parcel placement and retrieval detection. It also performs analysis of human movement trajectories and abnormal group behavior detection. In the future, the system will be further expanded to identify dangerous situations such as violent behavior. Through this project, Taiwan Optical Platform (TOP) demonstrates the potential of integrating cable television networks with AI and IoT technologies to develop a platform for smart disaster prevention and public safety applications.

Extreme rainfall events have increased the frequency of flooding, creating an urgent need for timely and reliable monitoring of urban drainage systems. The Smart Water Monitoring solution deploys water-level sensors and communication devices within stormwater drainage networks to ensure continuous data transmission. Through a centralized platform with real-time visual indicators, authorities can quickly identify abnormal conditions. This solution strengthens urban disaster resilience, reduces manual inspections, and improves overall operational efficiency.

Capable of helping customers complete ISO-14064 greenhouse gas inventory rapidly and correctly, the platform offers boasts provision of real-time greenhouse gas emission data, production of lists and tables, and carbon emission forecast, , thereby assisting enterprises in planning carbon-abatement investments, attaining emission reduction according to timeline, and optimizing emission management flow.

In recent years, the number of motor vehicle noise cases has increased, and it has been a concern for people in Taiwan. In order to protect the living environment and eliminate improper vehicle modifications, the Ministry of Environment has used acoustic camera technology for law enforcement since 2021. The system contains several scientific instruments, including a license plate recognition function that helps authorities identify noisy vehicles. Technology also improves inspection efficiency and quality of noisy vehicles. Existing roadside inspections require onsite noise measurement. The stationary noise test takes at least 20 minutes for each vehicle. Law enforcement using acoustic camera technology can simultaneously record videos, take photos, identify vehicles and complete noise measurements, to increase efficiency by a factor of 200. It is no longer necessary to use a large amount of manpower to carry out checks and inspections, greatly reducing labor costs. The Acoustic Camera equipment equipment used in this exhibition is provided by OE Scientech Co., Ltd. They not only supply fixed or mobile sound-based photography equipment to Taipei City, Taichung City, Chiayi City, and Changhua County but also have extensive experience in assisting with technology enforcement operations.

"Hualien AI Agent: 24/7 Digital Travel Hub" is a smart solution specifically designed to enhance urban resilience and boost traveler confidence. Built on the LangGraph architecture and integrated with multiple Large Language Models (LLMs), the system utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) to precisely understand user needs. It supports over 20 languages, providing authoritative information ranging from local culture to real-time post-disaster traffic updates and safe routing. As the first AI Agent in Taiwan capable of proactively calling multi-source real-time APIs across various government departments, it combines LBS (Location-Based Services) with a professionally maintained RAG authoritative knowledge base. This allows the system to push precise safety alerts and personalized itinerary recommendations to users. Through deep OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) integration, the service extends from digital platforms to major transportation hubs, visitor centers, and local businesses.
