Our team has built predictive models based on whole transcriptome data from patients with advanced metastatic prostate cancer, focusing on two different mechanisms of action: androgen receptor antagonists and androgen synthesis inhibitors. These two types of drugs essentially offer only one chance of selection, as resistance to one renders the other ineffective. Using weighted gene correlation network analysis, we identified several gene modules correlated to specific drug responses. Then, we combined several machine-learning algorithms and constructed classification models for different drug mechanisms. Our goal is to use detection services to determine the most effective drug for patients before administration.

Billion Electric Group , in collaboration with Taiwanese partners, has successfully deployed 495 kWp of solar PV and 1,997 kWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Palau, Tuvalu, and the Marshall Islands. This project establishes a 5G private network in rural Tainan schools, introducing AR/VR gamified English teaching. Students engage in scenario-based games, simulating English conversations in virtual reality, fostering entertaining and interactive learning. The curriculum incorporates famous global landmarks and utilizes AR technology for checkpoint missions, enhancing student interest. Beyond English education, the initiative collaborates with the National Palace Museum, integrating AR/VR historical artifacts. Using 5G streaming, historical content is seamlessly integrated into campus teaching. The project not only enhances learning outcomes in rural junior high schools, reducing the urban-rural digital gap, but also has the potential for nationwide expansion.
